The Fundamental Question

The three of you may have noticed from my 2007 wrap up post that one of my favorite new things was Twitter. While I was thinking about how great Twitter is I thought about my next prayer. I decided it would be that God would grant me 3 hands. 2 to take care of whatever I'm normally doing and the third to tweet what it is. I ended up never praying this as I couldn't think of a good place where the third hand should go. I get a little nervous with non-specific prayers ... you never know about God's sense of humor ... and I don't want to be his punch line.

So anyway, that leads me to my number one frustration with Twitter: When I'm doing anything actually interesting enough to tweet, I'm too busy doing that very thing to tweet it. I've tried just pausing what I'm doing, but that has lead to too many almost-accidents. I've tried asking my wife to do it for me, but there are much better things I can think of for her to be doing with her hands (like hugging). Jott -to-tweet might work, but it doesn't exist. But really, Twitter should just be asking me, "What did you just do?" instead.
